This video captures a personal journey that merges a passion for mechanics with the art of analog cinematography. After acquiring a Super 8, I disassembled and restored it to bring it back to life. I then used it to document the landscapes, culture, and nature of Brazil. The result is a work that blends mechanical craftsmanship with visual storytelling, offering an authentic and profound perspective on a country rich in history and beauty. The film format provides a unique aesthetic, with rich colors, depth, and an organic texture that digital media cannot replicate. The images, imbued with nostalgia, enhance the narrative through their imperfections, adding authenticity and value to every frame.
